• Veterinary Laboratory Association QualityAssurance Program® (VLA). Is an external proficiency program specially designed for veterinary laboratories and hospitals. The program is provided by Catachem, Inc. in conjunction with the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC).

• Society for Comparative Endocrinology External Quality Assurance Program (SCE-EQAS). An external proficiency program provided by the Society for Comparative Endocrinology .

• European Veterinary Endocrinology QualityAssessment Scheme (EVE-QAS). Offered by the European Society of Veterinary Endocrinology and headed by Peter Graham.
